Basic one (without Strafing Doctrine) is 30% (instead of 50%) Strafing upgrades this to 60% (instead of 100%) finaly last tech of Tactical tree upgrades it to 80% (instead of 130%). all CAG gain +3 Air Attack, so they do more damage against all aircraft, and carriers give better air protection. On the other side they shouldn't be too strong, as it would hurt countries like Italy (stong navy without carriers, strong airforce) as well as game balance (carriers=uber ships ) carriers were mainly for providing air cover, they should be much stronger against aircraft. We have to reduce ability of all aircrafts to make damage to ships at sea. reducing NAVs strenght isn't an option, as they'll become useless comparing to CASs or TACs. now it's far too easy to kill a fleet with bombers, it has to be balanced (as game doesn't reflect that it's not so easy to sink so many ships) As usual, I want to make as minimal changes as possible.

Inspired by this thread, I decided to mod air-naval fights a little. If your small country with poor techteams will grow, you can steal your way to get better will cost you, but if you'll be able to afford it.Īdded changes for few others actions, based on EmKeiEn mod: assassination cost doubled, smear campaign +25%, coup +25%, sabotage +150%, fund partisans -50%, sabotage techteam doubled. Now intelligence is also a way to balance countries. And if you ignore them they can help your enemy to grow, so expect big money loss. Last but not least, counter-intelligence is more balanced now: you have slightly bigger chance to counter enemy spies, but you'll have to use it frequently (as with bigger chances expect lot spies to walk in your country). But intelligence is an expensive weapon, you have to pay the price. You get more chance for placing spies so you can use them more often and your relations won't drop so dramaticly. counter-sying mission chance increased from 15 to 20, now ranges between 20-45% (+5% with proper minister)Īltogether, now using intelligence is much more effective, especialy for stealing techs (as was it's main purpose). place spy: basic chance increased from 20 to 35, so you'll have 35-60% chance for placing each spy downside - cost doubled again. starting steal chance increased from -5 to +10, so now (with 10 spies) you get 35% chance for stealing (or even 40% with proper minister) cost doubled (from 100 to 200) I will do some playtesting and then post the files ASAP

Still using it on massivly infiltrated country (even minor) can have great effect. Now c-i mission will help you battle espionage, but only if you want to pay much. I'll keep counter-intelligence percentage sure to help fight problems with 10 counter-spying folks ensuring noone is there.ĮDIT: On counter intelligence, I decided only to increase it's chance, not cost (as it would also mass-spam this mission for big countries). Making counter-intelligence cheaper is a way to help smaller countries so they can fight this "easy placing spies". Here is the same thing as with intelligence-if you pay enought attention you'll get the effects. So when you want to have effects you have to pay much (even more then in original DD), but you have better chance of success.unless enemy reacts. counter intelligence slightly/no better, but also cheaper.

placing spies should be much easier, but also more expensive. be more effective (especialy at stealing tech - that was the main reason of inteligence running), but not too much. My few thoughts on intelligence (how it should look like):
